How the Sector Is Regulated
Mineral dealer licences are issued under the Mining and Minerals Act 2022 by Uganda’s Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines. Exporting requires additional clearance from the Uganda Revenue Authority and a certificate of origin from the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
