What We’re Here to Do
International buyers sourcing minerals from East Africa face a real, specific problem: it is hard, from outside the region, to check whether a seller is licensed, whether the material has a genuine chain of custody, and whether the export paperwork will hold up at the border. Our mission is to close that gap.
Verification Before Trust
We do not ask a buyer to take a seller’s word for it. Before any transaction proceeds, our role is to check the things that actually matter: the seller’s mineral dealer licence, the assay result, and the export documentation required under the relevant national mining law - such as Uganda’s Mining and Minerals Act 2022, which requires a licence from the Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines before any mineral dealing can take place.
Working With the System, Not Around It
Every jurisdiction we operate in has its own licensing authority, tax and customs process, and export certification body. We work through those official channels rather than around them, because a transaction that bypasses the formal system carries no legal protection for either side.
Honest About What We Don’t Know
We do not guarantee purity, quantity, price or delivery on any transaction, and we will not present a seller’s claim as fact until it has been independently checked. Where we are not certain of something, we say so rather than filling the gap with a confident-sounding guess.
